Affected users may encounter the error code 0x18B after installing updates and restarting their devices, but a Known Issue Rollback (KIR) will automatically resolve the issue for most users within 24 hours. Windows admins for enterprise-managed devices will need to manually apply a Group Policy to address the problem.

Windows 11 users should be aware that restore points will now be retained for only 60 days following the June 2025 update, down from the previous 90 days. This change applies to the current version 24H2 and future updates, necessitating more frequent management of system restore points to ensure recoverability after outages.
