The service, known as T-Mobile's "Satellite" feature, aims to enhance connectivity for users in areas lacking traditional cell tower access. Customers will be able to send text messages and utilize select apps without the need for a cellular signal.

T-Mobile has expanded its T-Satellite service with Starlink, allowing users to access popular apps like Google Maps and WhatsApp via satellite when Wi-Fi or cellular connections are unavailable. The service is available on iPhones and is included in certain T-Mobile plans or can be subscribed to separately for $10 per month.
