OpenAI is updating ChatGPT's temporary chat feature to retain user personalization while keeping the chat sessions separate from account history. Users can now benefit from their preferences in these chats, which remain temporary and do not influence the main account. OpenAI may keep a copy of the chats for up to 30 days for safety reasons.
