Google has launched the Agent2Agent (A2A) protocol to enable interoperability among AI agents from different vendors, allowing them to collaborate and automate complex enterprise workflows more efficiently. This open protocol, supported by over 50 technology partners, aims to enhance productivity and reduce costs by allowing agents to communicate and coordinate actions seamlessly across various enterprise applications. A2A is designed with principles of security, existing standards, and support for diverse modalities to facilitate effective agent collaboration.
