Sketch has launched a significant update called Copenhagen, marking its first major redesign in years. The new interface adopts a Liquid Glass style, aiming for a cleaner and more logical layout. A key aspect of this update is the fixed sidebar, which replaces the previous floating panels. This change reorganizes document tabs alongside pages and layers, leading to a more streamlined navigation experience. The update also revamps the Layers panel and introduces a Focus mode. This mode highlights only the elements tied to the currently edited object, reducing distractions—an advantage for designers handling large files. Other enhancements include an adaptive toolbar that adjusts based on the selected tool and movable panels in the Inspector, replacing the older pop-up system. These modifications enhance usability and efficiency, making everyday design tasks smoother and more intuitive.
