ChatGPT is launching a new feature called “Your Year with ChatGPT,” modeled after Spotify Wrapped. This annual review will be available to users in select English-speaking markets, including the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Australia, and New Zealand. To access the feature, users must have either the free, Plus, or Pro plans, with specific settings like “reference saved memories” and “reference chat history” enabled. Users also need to meet a minimum level of conversation activity. Notably, Team, Enterprise, or Education accounts won't have access to this feature.
The experience aims to be engaging and user-friendly, using personalized graphics and awards to reflect how users interacted with ChatGPT over the year. For example, someone who frequently sought creative solutions might receive the “Creative Debugger” award. The feature includes a poem and an image summarizing the user’s year based on their interests. Users can find this wrap-up on the home screen of the ChatGPT app but won’t be forced to view it; it will not open automatically. The feature is accessible via the ChatGPT web app and mobile apps for iOS and Android, and users can prompt ChatGPT directly to access their yearly review.
