Google is enhancing its AI Mode with a new mobile design that simplifies user interaction with AI Overviews. Users will notice that tapping the “Show more” button on an AI Overview will now directly transition them into AI Mode. This change introduces an “Ask anything” bar at the bottom of the interface, allowing users to ask follow-up questions immediately without navigating away from the overview. The aim is to streamline the question-asking process, making it more intuitive.
The AI Overview acts as a starting point for users, providing a quick snapshot of information. With this update, users can engage in deeper conversations seamlessly. However, the feature isn’t widely available yet; it’s currently being tested and not active on all accounts.
On a separate note, Gemini 3 Pro, along with Nano Banana Pro, is expanding its reach. The rollout includes nearly 120 countries and territories, initially available to Google AI Pro and AI Ultra subscribers. Users can find Gemini 3 Pro options in the top-left corner under “Thinking with 3 Pro.” It offers functionalities like generating dynamic visual layouts and custom simulations based on user queries. For those interested in image generation via Nano Banana Pro, using Gemini 3 Pro is required.
