The Xiph.Org Foundation, awarded €25,000, manages audio codecs like Ogg and FLAC, which are integral to Spotify's audio delivery. The foundation has been a consistent recipient of the FOSS Fund since its inception and focuses on maintaining and modernizing its technology while producing valuable documentation for developers. All three projects rely heavily on community contributions, showcasing the importance of sustained financial support for their continued success.
