If you do, here's more
Persona has launched a Startup Program aimed at helping early-stage companies streamline their identity verification processes. They have partnered with organizations like Itaú-Cubo, TechStars, and AngelList to facilitate the application process. Startups can access a variety of services, including government ID verification and compliance tools tailored for fintech businesses. The program offers two main cohorts: a General cohort and a Fintech cohort, each with specific services and eligibility requirements.
For the General cohort, startups get 500 free verifications per month and support through online resources and community introductions. The Fintech cohort includes additional compliance-focused features such as watchlist access and exclusive webinars. Both cohorts will automatically deactivate after 12 months unless a paid plan is chosen.
Applications are open to startups globally, though some benefits may vary by region. Current Persona customers are ineligible for this program. There’s a strong incentive for referrals, as referred startups get priority in the application process, and referrers receive perks. The startup package includes self-serve resources, but businesses should expect limited direct support. For those needing more advanced functionality, Persona offers an Essential plan starting at $250 per month, which includes API access and additional verification types.
