This collaboration integrates Uber Eats into Global Payments’ Genius point-of-sale (POS) system, allowing restaurants to onboard the delivery platform quickly and efficiently. The self-serve onboarding process means restaurants can start using Uber Eats faster, potentially increasing their customer reach. The partnership aims to improve operational efficiency. Orders, updates, and cancellations will sync in real-time between the Genius system and Uber Eats, helping restaurants manage delivery orders more smoothly. Danyel Bischof-Forsyth, CTO of 7 Brew Coffee, highlighted the benefits of this technology, noting their successful implementation of Genius at over 500 locations. This integration not only streamlines processes for restaurants but also enhances the overall customer experience.
