The Biohub is backed by substantial funding, with a budget of $1 billion per year for the next 10 to 15 years. They recently acquired EvoScale, significantly boosting their computational power with a new 10,000 GPU cluster. These tools complement existing models focused on gene regulatory networks and biological reasoning, creating a comprehensive framework for AI-driven research in biology. The Biohub’s interdisciplinary collaboration aims to redefine how we approach health and disease, making strides toward a future where we can predict, prevent, and treat illnesses more effectively.
