Parallel has launched the FindAll API, a tool that transforms natural language queries into structured datasets sourced from the web. This API can identify various entities like companies, people, and locations based on user-defined criteria, providing enriched data with sources cited for verification. Notably, FindAll Pro boasts a recall rate of 61%, outperforming competitors like OpenAI and Anthropic by about three times.
The functionality of FindAll is broken down into a three-stage process. First, it searches its proprietary web index to generate potential matches for a query. Next, it evaluates these candidates against specific match conditions, ensuring that only relevant results are processed. Finally, it extracts and enriches data on the matched entities, including details like revenue and employee count, while providing comprehensive citations for each data point.
Parallel evaluated FindAll's performance using a benchmark of 40 complex queries across various sectors, including public companies and startups. Results showed that while FindAll Pro achieved a recall of 61.3%, its lower-tier option, FindAll Base, still maintained a recall of 30.3% at a significantly reduced cost. This makes the API a cost-effective solution for users needing reliable datasets tailored to specific needs. The FindAll API is currently available on the Parallel Developer Platform, inviting users to explore its capabilities.
