Dina Powell McCormick has been appointed as President and Vice Chairman of Meta. She previously served on Meta's Board of Directors and has been integral to the company's focus on advanced AI technologies. Mark Zuckerberg highlighted her extensive experience in global finance and her strong international relationships, which make her well-suited for this leadership role as Meta navigates its next growth phase. Powell McCormick brings over 25 years of experience, including 16 years at Goldman Sachs, where she held senior leadership roles and was part of the Management Committee. She led initiatives like 10,000 Women and One Million Black Women, which aimed to foster economic development. Her public service includes positions as Deputy National Security Advisor under President Trump and a Senior Advisor to Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice during the Bush administration. Most recently, she worked as Vice Chair and President at BDT & MSD Partners. In her new role, she will join Meta’s management team and work closely with infrastructure teams to ensure the successful execution of multi-billion-dollar investments. Powell McCormick is expected to help build strategic partnerships and expand Meta's investment capacity, contributing to the company’s ambitious plans for data centers and global connectivity.
