Lovable, a Swedish startup that specializes in "vibe-coding," has achieved significant growth, reaching an annual recurring revenue (ARR) of $200 million in just four months. Co-founder and CEO Anton Osika announced this milestone at the Slush 2025 conference in Helsinki. The company, founded in 2023, has rapidly expanded since launching its AI-driven app-building product in late 2024. Lovable’s revenue model involves annualizing monthly income to determine ARR, which reflects its swift market acceptance. Osika aims to capture a larger share of enterprise customers, noting that about half of Lovable's current users come from individuals who initially adopt the service for personal use before it gets integrated into their companies. This grassroots adoption can lead to substantial contracts worth millions. Lovable’s platform allows users to create full-stack web applications through natural-language prompts, making software development accessible to non-technical users and casual creators. The service operates on a subscription model, offering advanced features for a fee. Despite its rapid success, Lovable faces stiff competition from established giants like Microsoft and Google, as well as emerging players such as Anthropic.
