CData is partnering with Microsoft to enhance the capabilities of Microsoft Copilot Studio and Agent 365 by integrating its Connect AI platform. This collaboration aims to break through existing limitations where Copilot only accesses Microsoft 365 data, which can hinder users who need information from other systems like Salesforce or SAP. The upcoming workshop led by Sabin Nair from Microsoft will focus on creating workflows that connect multiple data sources, allowing for more comprehensive insights across business functions. The session targets enterprise architects, IT directors, and developers who are responsible for building scalable agent architectures. Attendees will learn about the Model Context Protocol (MCP), which Microsoft has implemented in Copilot to foster an open agentic web. Key topics include semantic intelligence for data context, security measures for data interactions, and best practices for deploying agents in a corporate setting. Participants will also explore how to construct workflows that trigger actions based on events in various systems, improving operational efficiency. This workshop is scheduled for February 18th and aims to address the growing need for integrated data solutions in organizations. By facilitating data connectivity across over 350 systems, CData and Microsoft intend to empower businesses to make informed decisions without compromising governance.
