Companies like Palantir Technologies have installed branded vending machines filled with these pouches in their offices. Employees and guests over the age of 21 can access them for free, with Palantir covering the costs. Alex Cohen, the founder of Hello Patient, a healthcare software company, noted that he first encountered nicotine pouches when he saw them on the desks of his engineers. Impressed by their productivity, he decided to provide them in the office. This trend raises questions about the health implications of using nicotine, especially given the potential risks associated with nicotine consumption. While some workers are finding these pouches beneficial for concentration, the long-term effects on health remain a concern.
