Replit and Google Cloud are deepening their partnership to bring vibe coding to enterprise developers. Vibe coding allows users to create apps and websites by typing commands in a conversational manner, which has primarily appealed to individual developers until now. The expanded agreement will leverage Google Cloud's infrastructure and AI models, particularly Gemini, to enhance Replit's platform for larger business teams.
Under this new multi-year deal, Google Cloud remains Replit's main cloud provider, utilizing services like Google Cloud Run and BigQuery to support Replit's growth. Replit has already integrated the Gemini 3 model into its Design mode and is now expanding support for various Google AI models, which will enhance coding and multimodal capabilities. The partnership aims to make vibe coding more accessible for enterprise clients, boosting developer productivity through joint marketing efforts and Google Cloud's co-sell programs.
Both companies see significant potential in this collaboration. Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian highlighted that deeper integration of AI and cloud services will benefit Replit's users and promote vibe coding adoption in larger organizations. Replit's co-founder, Amjad Masad, mentioned growing interest among Fortune 1000 companies and expressed confidence that this partnership will accelerate their mission to empower a new wave of software creators across different sectors.
