This accreditation enhances Figma's credibility in the DACH region—Germany, Austria, and Switzerland—by confirming that it meets strict requirements for information security and risk management. With this recognition, organizations in sectors like government and finance can trust Figma's security controls and operational practices more easily. Mareike Busche, Figma's senior director for the DACH and CEE regions, emphasized that this milestone reflects the company's commitment to high security and compliance standards. Figma is now listed on the BSI C5 register, increasing transparency for customers about its security measures. This step is particularly important for clients with complex regulatory needs, as they can assess Figma’s compliance against their internal requirements. Figma has also made significant investments in the DACH market, including offering full German-language support and data storage options within the EU. Currently, nearly 90% of companies in the DAX 40 index utilize Figma for product design and collaboration.
