This development positions DeepL as a competitor to major AI players like Anthropic and OpenAI, as it builds on its existing translation technology with capabilities for broader enterprise applications. CEO Jarek Kutylowski indicated that while there is significant investor interest in the AI sector, an IPO is not currently planned for the company.
