OKX has been fined $2.6 million by the Dutch National Bank for providing crypto services in the Netherlands without proper registration from July 2023 to August 2024. The fine was reduced due to the exchange's subsequent compliance efforts, including migrating users to a licensed entity under the EU’s Markets in Crypto Assets regime.
