Three ways to save links from anywhere.

Install as App (iPhone)

Add QEY to your home screen from Safari for a full app experience with back/forward navigation.

Must use Safari — Apple only allows PWA installs from Safari. If you're in Brave or another browser, tap the button below first.
Open this page in Safari

Tap above if you're in Brave or Chrome — it will switch you to Safari.

Then, in Safari:

  1. Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen
  2. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen
  3. Tap Add — the QEY icon will appear on your home screen
  4. Open the app from your home screen — you'll get back/forward/refresh navigation at the bottom

Browser Extension (Desktop)

Save pages with one click from Chrome, Edge, or Brave on desktop.

Recommended for desktop. Click save, optionally go straight to the saved page.

iOS Share Sheet Shortcut

Save straight from the iOS share sheet using Apple Shortcuts — works in Safari and most browsers.

  1. Open the Shortcuts app and create a new shortcut named Save to QEY
  2. Open its Details panel and turn on Show in Share Sheet
  3. Set the accepted input to URLs
  4. Add a URL Encode action — pass Shortcut Input into it
  5. Add a Text action with this URL: https://quitemailingyourself.com/links/ios-shortcut?url=[URL Encoded Text]
  6. Add an Open URLs action — opens the Text output
  7. Make sure you're logged in to QEY in Safari

To use it:

  1. Open any page you want to save
  2. Tap the iOS Share button
  3. Choose Save to QEY from the actions list
  4. QEY opens and confirms the save
If the shortcut prompts you to log in, open QEY in Safari, log in, then run it again.

Bookmarklet (All Desktop Browsers)

Drag this button to your bookmarks bar, then click it on any page to save.

To install:

  1. Show your bookmarks bar — Cmd+Shift+B (Mac) or Ctrl+Shift+B (Windows)
  2. Drag the button above to your bookmarks bar
  3. Click it on any page to save that page to QEY
If dragging doesn't work: right-click the button, copy the link address, create a bookmark manually, and paste the link as the URL.
